We don’t really know how your summer was. Maybe it was full of fun times with friends and family. Maybe it’s been sad and depressing because you feel overwhelmed by the world. Maybe it’s been stressful to work around the clock. It may be all of the above.
Whatever you have been feeling, one of the best things you can do right now is set aside time to worship God. Listening to worship music has a way of helping us focus our gaze on our good and perfect Father, who is worthy of endless praise. Phil Wickham’s song about the hope we have in our eternal future gives us absolute chills. “Every prayer we prayed with desperation / Songs of faith / We sang through doubt and fear / In the end we will see that it was worth it / When he returns to wipe away our tears”
