A Holly Jolly Christmas Experience
“A Holly Jolly Christmas Experience” is scheduled for December 12 at 5 pm at the First Baptist – Orange located at 7637 MLK, Jr. Dr. in Orange. The cost is $ 10 for adults (grade 7 and up) and $ 5 for children (ages 4 to 6). What you’ll enjoy with Jared and Maegan is well worth the ticket. But the night has only just begun. After the amazing weather inside, we’ll then move outside for an evening of Christmas activities including delicious hot chocolates, S’mores, Christmas movies on the giant outdoor screen and much more. . You can decorate Christmas decorations and enjoy a live nativity scene while listening to your favorite songs sung by Christmas carols.
Tickets are on sale now on fbco.org and at the church Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to noon.
The 5K Ministries Pantry, located at 9125 Skeeter, Orange, TX 77632 at the corner of Hwy 62 and Skeeter 3 miles north of the intersection in Mauriceville, is open from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Friday . For more information call 409-745-7110
First Presbyterian Church, 902 Green Ave. in Orange, hosts a soup kitchen from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm on Tuesdays and Fridays.
GriefShare Support Group
Often times, friends and family want to help, but don’t know how. This is the reason for GriefShare. Our group is led by caring people who have successfully rebuilt their lives. We understand how you feel because we have been the same. We will walk with you on the long path through mourning to healing and hope for the future.
We will meet at Restoration Church, 3212 Concord Suite E, Concord Plaza, Orange, Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. or Community Church, 3400 MLK Drive, Orange, Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
Children can complete their bucket lists
The Summer Bible Bucket for Grade 5 students is underway at Orange North Baptist Church. “We want to bring our kids to the Word this summer and stay connected to God in a fun and exciting way,” said Sheryl Kinder.
The biblical bucket is filled with several fun things for children to do during summer vacation while seeking God. Children who complete their Bucket List can bring it back at the end of the summer for a special price.
Gather the OC
Young adults residing in the Orange region are invited to participate in GATHER OC, a time of relaxed worship and learning, designed for young single and married adults, ages 20-40. Participants will have the opportunity to get to know new friends and share time with their peers in a warm and inviting café-style setting. The hour together will include musical praise and worship, a time of corporate silence, a short time of devotion and a small group.
GATHER OC will take place Sunday evening from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church, 1819 N. 16e Street in Orange, Texas.
