Recently, Greek tennis player Maria Sakkari said the Mercedes driver was her favorite F1 driver. She also revealed that the season finale in Abu Dhabi left her feeling upset as she cheered on Lewis.

Lewis Hamilton gives sage advice to Emma Raducanu

As Formula1.com reports, Sakkari isn’t the only tennis player to look up to Lewis. New US Open champion and tennis sensation Emma Raducanu says she got some great advice from Hamilton at the 2021 Met Gala.

“I met [Hamilton] in person at the Met Gala and we had a really good conversation there, and since then I’ve looked up to him, followed him and supported him… but it’s cool – every time we meet, it’s really cool », said Emma.

“He said, ‘Be patient, you know, just ride the wave. Everything is fine, don’t worry, good insurance. He’s a really cool guy… [He’s] been such a good role model for me in helping me take the next steps,” she said.
