Wichita Falls area churches announce services

Wichita Falls First Baptist Church: Wichita Falls First Baptist Church has changed some worship times for its campuses. We invite you to join us at any of our services.

The downtown campus, 1200 9th Street, will host their mixed worship with choir, worship team and orchestra on Sundays at 8:15 a.m. Contemporary worship is offered at 9:45 a.m. and 11 a.m.

West Campus, 4317 Barnett Road, offers contemporary services at 9:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. each Sunday. Sheppard’s Church, 2101 Puckett, will offer contemporary services at 9:45 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Life groups are available for all ages every Sunday.

Sunday morning services are broadcast live on CFNT, cable channel 10 or live on 20.1 or 24.1 each Sunday at 8:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. The services are also streamed on our website as well as on our Facebook page.

First Presbyterian Church, 3601 Taft Blvd. : At 10:30 a.m. this Sunday, February 13, Reverend Michael Hansen, Senior Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, will preach. He will continue the series of sermons on the Gospel of Luke. His sermon is titled “The Old and the New Jesus” and is based on Luke 5:33-39.

Family Night Supper is scheduled for Fellowship Hall, at 6:00 p.m., February 16 and will include lasagna, salad, breadsticks and dessert. The cost is $6 per person or $20 for a family of 4 or more. Reservations can be made through the Church office or on the Church website, before February 14 if possible.

PFC youth are invited to a Super Bowl watch party in the Undercroft, Feb. 13, 5 p.m. until halftime.

Sunday School for K-1, 2-3, and 4-5 is held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. each Sunday in the Hallelujah Hallway. The youth group in grades 6-12 meets from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the Undercroft every Wednesday.

Sunday morning worship will continue live and in person in the sanctuary at 10:30 a.m. The Church’s COVID-19 protocols can be viewed on the Church’s website.

First United Methodist Church of Iowa Park, 201 E. Bank: Come worship with us at 9 a.m. on Sundays. Social distancing and security measures are respected. At this time, we still do not have any Fellowship or Sunday School events.

Mount Pleasant Baptist Church will celebrate the annual Deacons’ and Ministers’ Spouses Tea Program during Sunday morning worship at 10 a.m. All members are asked to use the Harding Street entrance and wear a face covering. If you cannot attend the service, deacons will be available on the Bailey Street side of the church 30 minutes after the service if you wish to contribute tithes, offer and receive the Lord’s Supper. New Presbyterian Hope: We continue to meet at 10:30 a.m. in a temporary location at 812 Travis, Wichita Falls. This is the site of the Red River Valley Dance Association. We will be able to socially distance and we will have masks available for anyone who wishes to wear them indoors. But we can worship together again. Our services will continue to be available on our FB page and web page for those who have joined locally and across the country over the past year.

New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1420 Borton Lane: New Jerusalem offers meals for the locked down, food distribution through the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank’s mobile pantry, clothing and health checkups on the fourth Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to noon.
